So, I was pretty sure that the first email I got that referenced talking to Lucasfilm would be a cease and desist letter.

Instead, I got to do an interview for my blog with The Clone Wars actress Catherine Taber, who plays Padme. This is kind of incredibly awesome. :star: [link] :star:

I never thought it would be so hilarious to have a member of the crew disprove one of my fan theories. (I was pretty sure Padme made the choice she did in "Shadow Warrior" because she was concerned about people suspecting her marriage.)

Very cool! That is smashing awesome! A fair number of the actors/actresses are happy to spend time talking to people if you arent all crazy. I really enjoy talking to a few of the gents from the movies when they come to the local comic-con. Really cool insight into the movies and their lives :) Kudos to you!

No. I dropped out of FotJ about halfway through. At one point I knew how it ended and then forgot.

As strange as it has gotten, they did a very, very interesting job of linking Father, Daughter, and Son to both the Kiliks and Abeloth.

So apparently, The Ones are "what Celestials become" (whatever that means). The three of them were living on the planet of Mortis, with the Father trying to keep balance between Daughter and Son after one swam in the Pool of Knowledge, and the other drank from the Font of Power respectively (you'll recognize those from Beyond Shadows when Luke visited them). Eventually, a young Abeloth crashes on the planet, and acts as a servant for The Ones, while giving Daughter company and channeling Son's destructive instincts towards productive tasks. As she grows older, Father falls in love with her, and basically takes on the role of Mother. However, she notices that while she ages, the others do not, so one day while Father is busy with Son and Daughter, she swims in the Pool of Knowledge, AND drinks from the Font of Power, twisting her so that she tries to force the three of them to respect her, rather than win them over with love, etc. So The Ones imprison her on that random jungle world in the Maw, and use the hive mind of the Kiliks to build both Centerpoint and Sinkhole Stations to keep her there (explicitly stating that both Daughter and Son become joiners in a specific hive of Kiliks, granting the entire hive Force-sensitivity). It then said that the Father turned Mortis into the Mortis Monolith, traveling the galaxy in their planet/ship. And that whenever Abeloth was freed (apparently this has happened several times), Son and Daughter re-visited the Kiliks to activate both stations and thrust Abeloth back to her prison planet.
