ME3: Purgatory +spoiler+ Shepard doesn't react very quickly. That's one of the traits that has saved her life in the past: physically, her reflexes are at the peak of human possibility. Emotionally, though, she delays. It lets her see situations clearly, as if good and evil were just divergent paths.

Now, leaning across the bar table with her pilot in front of her and a crowd thrashing to the beat of Purgatory, she speaks calmly as years of tension fail to fall away.

Clone Wars: RebuitDarth Maul is being knitted together. In both brain and body he can feel it, little pinpricks of thought sticking in his own head. And his legs. Some weight is gone, all the little spider-servos and spars still caked with the dust of Lotho Minor shedding from him, but there's new weight too, heavy and pressing in on his stomach and the machines he has made to keep himself alive. The witch (the other, the woman, the not-my-brother) is invading him, brain and body and taking the old bone of his horns off with all the rest of the weight, until he is fully unbalanced.

He sees black stripes on a yellow face; hooked, tan horns; orange eyes. He sees black armor like the shell of a turtle. This must be another animal, come to fight Maul for his nest. Maul shivers all over, readying himself to get up. He arcs like a cat. He tastes the air with his teeth and his tongue. It smells like ashes and fire, but it always does. Maybe, somewhere, there's the tang of speeder exhaust from above, and something electrical.

Jade Empire: Sage Sagacious Zu thinks that he is becoming part of the swamp sometimes. He beats at it, forcing it to go away.

The staff he wields is splintered in places and smooth in others. It's familiar in his hands, so much so that he sometimes expects ash to flake off his hands along with the wood when he catches the wrong spot. He needs to repair the staff. He needs to repair a lot of things, but right now he's punishing his captor.

He spins and snaps the staff, one end under his arm and the other lashing out at a stand of reeds. Reed-heads fly off into the marsh.

RvB: Overwhelming MemoriesHe's got a cat. That's a nice thing. Soft fur, warm on his palm, something he can curl his fingers into. Everything he's supposed to do and be and save is behind a gray glass wall but he can't get there. He has to be here, with these needles stitch-tracking into his skin. They're going to pierce any time now.

He's got a cat. He/she/it/cat pushes a hard nose full of whiskers against the knuckle of his thumb. It's got a snaggletooth, but it doesn't really hurt. It's just an awareness. The pain is a distant, hazy….

the wrath of Darth Maulby *Nemonus

There's a YA book called "The Wrath of Darth Maul" coming out, which is why this is the title as opposed to the more appropriate "the disturbed hobo sleep of Darth Maul". In the first scene he's lying on a street being investigated by rats. He's also got six patchwork robotic legs, and the idea of seeing a person who's clearly humanoid but you aren't sure how many knees he has just seemed kinda scary to me, in a fun 'why haven't I ever thought of that' sort of way. It's certainly different from any of my perceptions of his rebirth, but that's fine.

Do more please as I read the book I am wished it had sketches before each chapter depicting the key even in it

I got it yesterday am an up to chapter twelve and have been resisting the urge to cry I hope I can hold out

God I love this book! When I first saw this drawing, I thought of the scene where Sidious fills Maul's room with dinkos and they attack him in the dark when he's getting dressed for bed.

xD I don't know Nem, I like "the disturbed hobo sleep of Darth Maul".

But really, this is very good. Your pose and anatomy looks so much more natural here, and the coloring is just superb in the subtle way you've handled light and color.

Oh, Maul and his robot legs. Why is it always robot legs? I want to see something about his bottom half being refitted with a droid torso.

Great idea only things i would do little different is bigger horns since that is the way he slept under wierd angle and more mature and older face but its still great
