...aka fanart for "If There Are Wolves Among The Stars", my "(part of) Noble Team survives" fic. This is a collaboration with the lovely *misao-chan, who did the wonderful lines. I did the wonky coloring and the artifacts. This has been in the works for a loooong time. It was really exciting in the beginning, and then I sortof got stuck on things like there being way too many layers and way too few straight lines. I guess it was a learning experience.

Reeeeeeelk y u so iridescent?! One day I will get the color of his armor to look the way I picture it. But this is not that day.

It's supposed to look like a comic page, thus the panels. This is the bit in the story where they're all hanging around outside Halsey's office. L-R Relk, Jun, Jorge, Six.

There are many that can color between the lines but it is the true artist that brings the lines to life with well placed color! Great job on this collaboration! The shading and layers brings it to life! You've done a great job with this.

This coloring is not wonky!

It's great. Good job using multiple values for each color, as well as soft and hard transitions between certain shades. It helps create additional planes on the armor within the structure of the lines, giving it more volume. I also like the way you rendered the iridescence of the Elite's armor; it's visible, but nice and subtle enough that the viewer knows that it's not paint stripes or something. Even if it's not how you pictured it, I think it's still great. I commend your collaborator for the beautifully detailed line-work as well (I think I would die if I ever tried to draw realistic/accurate MJOLNIR).

Simply a wonderful picture...and a very interesting setup. I like how the Elite is just sitting there, chillin'.

...Ooooh. A "Noble Team Survives" fic? When did I miss this?
