Anakin opened the door of their suite and looked up past the brown folds of Jedi cloak to a masked alien face. He did not recognize this Jedi, nor the orange-faced youngling standing next to him, one of her pudgy hands gripping his trouser leg. When they clashed, fenced, when his saber whirled around her guard and sliced deep into her durasteel side, he recognized the way she automatically switched her grip on her weapon when the battle was not going her way, so that her lightsaber was held horizontally, almost nicking her silvered elbow, so that she could flow through forms she had learned before she knew him.

When she fell to the ground, sliced by another flurry of cuts fueled by Anakin’s righteous rage against this one more opponent set against him by the Separatists (Dooku, Grievous, Ventress, this—each monster pitiable except when right in front of him), he recognized the akul-tooth headdress twined around her louvered wrist.

Finally finished; now I can move on to requests. As soon as I get more sketchbook paper. XD

This still isn't quite an accurate picture of how she looks based on what I described in the story. I might try again, creepier next time...

I'm liking the clothing. Probably because clothing is something I lack in drawing. x3~ I tend to not do very well with clothing. I love the shading, too~ Gives it that feeling of depth :3

Gah, clothing is so difficult. I had some help with the folds here because I uploaded the sketch to scraps and asked for it. XD The thing to keep in mind with clothes is where it's stretched and where it's loose. I'm still working on them specifically, but I'm glad the shading and "sense of depth" worked!
